iOS 6 - full review

What's up everyone, Yoni here and this is my full review of iOS 6.

iOS 6 is the latest version of apple's mobile software, and if I'm honest, it's a disappointment.

It's available for most iDevices, here's the list:

iPhone 3GS
iPhone 4
iPhone 4S
iPhone 5

iPod touch 4th gen
iPod Touch 5th gen

iPad 2
3rd gen iPad

iOS 6 was first announced during WWDC this year, and was released for download on the 19th of September this year, just 2 days before the iPhone 5 went on sale.

iOS 6 has a few new features, including some new and updated apps. These include, passbook for the iPhone and iPod Touch, the brand new clock app for iPad, Apple's own maps app, and also the AppStore and iTunes Store have new layouts.

Lots of people have complained about apple creating their own maps rather than googles, and if I'm honest, the new maps are pretty bad. Comment if you agree.

The clock app for the iPad was added, and it looks really nice. It has similar features to the iPhone app such as world clocks, alarms, and a stopwatch. When you tap on a clock, you can see it in full screen mode, kind of like a massive iPod nano.

Facebook integration has been added, all it really does is let you share things to Facebook and sync your contacts with Facebook.

Otherwise, there's not really much in terms of additions, there's been some tweaks to the OS but otherwise it's basically the same. In my opinion, it should've been released as iOS 5.2, there's no way it should count as a full OS refresh.

I'll give the update a 6/10, mainly because its barely had any additions to iOS.
