Apple Event - Full Overview

Just a few hours ago, the October 23rd Apple Event started. Millions of fanboys were buzzing.

So, without giving you a long, epic intro, we'll tell you that Apple announced these products:

Updated Mac Mini

iMac 21 and 27" models with new displays and redesigned body

13" MacBook Pro with Retina Display

4th Generation iPad (basically a third gen with a massive speed bump)

AND.....

iPad Mini


Without shoving a bunch of specs or information that you won't want to read into this article, we'll just leave you with some basic information and we'll get some articles pushed out tomorrow with more info on the specific products.

Here's the main specs/information about

iMac - way faster, 5mm thin, "Fusion Drive" which is an HDD and SSD working together, improved IPS display.

Mac Mini - updated to have USB 3.0 and Ivy Bridge processors, also a 1tb server version wth 4GB RAM will be available soon

13" Retina MacBook Pro - much thinner, much faster, much lighter, 2 thunderbolt ports, stereo mics and speakers

4th generation iPad - basically the 3rd gen iPad but with an HD facetime camera, lightning port and A6X processor

iPad Mini - (almost) the same specs as the iPad 2, A5 processor, same screen res which means that the OS and apps will work natively, lightning port, HD FaceTime camera.
