The MacBook Pro 13" Goes Retina!!!

At Apple's event on Tuesday, they announced that there will be a 13" MacBook Pro joining the line, above the standard 13" and 15" models but below the Retina MacBook Pro that we saw in June (15").

In this article I will go over all the specs of the new 13" Retina MacBook Pro

There are two models and the only spec difference between the two is the SSD space.

One model comes with 128GB and the other model comes with 256GB. For the base model, the price comes to £1,449.00 and the higher model comes to £1,699.000

The following specs are the exact same for both models:

2.5Ghz dual-core Intel Core i5 CPU
Turbo boost up to 3.1Ghz
8GB 1600Mhz RAM
Intel HD graphics 4000
Up to 7 hours of battery life

The screen resolution: 2560x1600 native resolution at 227 PPI, but there's a tool you can use to make it the same resolution as the normal 15" MBP, so if you have or do use a 15" MBP, you've got every reason to upgrade to this model.

In terms of size, it's only 1.62 KG in weight, and 1.9cm thick. Wow.

It has almost exactly the same ports as the 15" Retina model does.

MagSafe 2 for charging
Dual Thunderbolt Ports
Two USB 3.0 Ports
Headphone Jack
SDXC Card Slot
HDMI Out
