Hey Geeklings how's it going,
This post is to let you know of the upcoming week and how exciting it is for everyone.
There's a lot of new tech to be announced this week, and we're here to cover it.
First of all - the next gen iPhone. With rumors strongly pointing towards a September 12th Keynote, so that means that invitations will be going out any day now. Exciting.
Here's something I'm really excited for, Microsoft and Nokia are holding an event in New York tomorrow, most likely to announce the rumored Lumia 920 and hopefully to release Windows Phone 8 to the public. I'm a fan of iOS, but I'd much prefer to use a Windows Phone 8 device over the iPhone for everyday usage. Just a personal preference.
Also tomorrow (September 5th), is the event being hosted by Verizon and Motorola. It'll be just a few hours after the MS & Nokia event, and we're expecting a Droid Razr HD. Not really too interesting, The Razr HD will be like the most recent Razr phone but with bumped up specs, better camera, screen ETC.
Lastly, the Amazon event, in Santa Monica on the 6th September. We're expecting a new Kindle, to compete with the GlowLight Nook, as well as 2 Kindle Fire tablet devices. There have been rumors of a Kindle Fire Smartphone, but it's unlikely. The 2 Kindle Fire's have been rumored to be the same, but one will be ad supported and cheaper. There's been rumors of a 10-inch Kindle Fire tablet but it's as unlikely as the smartphone.
We've also been seeing some really cool products at IFA 2012 in Berlin.
